An area of construction in which R² prides itself in being extremely proficient and knowledgeable, is the Healthcare Industry. While Healthcare is an area of construction that requires a higher level of professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge, R² takes advantage of all opportunities that present themselves. Examples of this ongoing commitment to knowledge is R²s active involvement in organizations such as ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering) and IFMA (International Facility Management Association), while also taking advantage of continuing education courses with topics such as Infectious Control, Medical Waste and Healthcare Confidentiality (HIPPA).

R² also requires that each member of the Healthcare construction team attend and successfully complete ASHE's Healthcare Construction Certification Program. R² considers involvement in these organizations and programs not only an invaluable resources for education and information, but also as a message to our customers that R² takes Healthcare construction extremely serious and will continue to grow with this rapidly changing area of construction.

Commitment to Experience:

When it comes to the Healthcare construction team, R² ensures that the team is experienced and proficient in the Healthcare industry. The R² team comes from various healthcare backgrounds that range from on-site supervision, to working directly for a hospital in the Design and Construction Department.

Our team has experience in projects that range from MRI installations and Inpatient remodels, to the day-to-day projects such carpet upgrades in occupied spaces and reception area remodels.

Since R² specializes in the small to mid size projects, once a field team is familiarized with a facility they will become dedicated to that facility. This ensures that their will not be any unnecessary impacts due to unfamiliarity with the facility and also gives the Hospital the opportunity to become familiar with select R² staff and not seeing new faces filter in and out.

R² does not only require our team be experienced and proficient in Healthcare, but also require that the subcontractors have experience and a proven track record in the Healthcare environment as well. By having this requirement, R2 ensures that our schedule, reputation andquality will not be compromised.

R² prides itself on the ability to always meet schedule and budget. Unless the project has unforeseen circumstances, R² has instilled in it's staff that the schedule will not be pushed and the budget will be met without additional cost.
